This image and the others shown here are from the series Empty Stages - Tim and myself have been working on this series for about three years. I guess we have between 30 and 40 stages by now. The paradox of this project seems to be that although the stages are not being used for their usual purpose - containing/showing performance - they are far from "empty" and always seem to contain evidence/ possibilities of uses beyond the expected show, performance or play.
